How does it work?
The interchangeable needle heads for Skin Roller have silver-plated, Japanese surgical steel microneedles. Damage is simulated when the needles are rolled over the skin. This initiates the body’s natural healing process; the skin’s production of collagen and elastin is stimulated and new, healthy skin cells are created.
The skin’s uptake of serum and active ingredients is increased by 300% after treatment thanks to the microneedles. Skin Roller ensures that you receive maximum benefit from your skincare routine and products. It is an outstanding tool for anti-ageing treatment, eliminating blackheads and creating supple, radiant skin.
Healthy looking skin
When you pull the dermaroller over your skin in various directions, the growth of new skin cells and connective tissue is stimulated, which in turn smooths out imperfections and gives you healthier skin.
3 different needle heads
- 0,2mm for Face – recommended for young, sensitive and thin skin, e.g., around the eyes
- 0,5mm for Face – recommended for best results
- 0,5mm for Body – a wider needle head with 1080 needles to treat larger areas of skin on the body, e.g., thighs or stomach
A perfect start for beginners
If you are unsure but would like to try it out, you can start treatment with the 0,2mm needle length and see how it feels. Once you feel comfortable, change to 0,5mm for maximum results. It is perfectly possible to use the various needle heads on all parts of the body, e.g., décolletage, hands or knees. Try them out and follow the instructions and procedures carefully.
We recommend a treatment period of five consecutive days followed by a hiatus of equal length so the skin has time to rest and recover. Once the skin has recovered, you may continue with a new treatment cycle. Continue in this manner – five days of treatment and five days of rest – for two months. We recommend that you begin a new treatment period with a new needle head with sharp needles so that you do not injure your skin and in order to achieve maximum results. You can find new interchangeable heads for Skin Roller here.
Hygiene is vital
As is always the case in treatment with microneedles, the importance of cleanliness cannot be overstated. Always remember to only treat dry, healthy, cleansed skin. Make sure your Skin Roller is disinfected. We recommend our Beauty Accessory Cleaning Spray for simple and thorough cleansing of your Skin Roller. You should also be careful about the manner in which you store your Skin Roller. Use the accompanying needle head cover to ensure the microneedles remain clean and intact.
Keep in mind
Avoid treatment if:
- You have open sores
- You suffer from a dermatological disease or are prone to scarring (keloids)
- You are pregnant or breast-feeding
